Garrett Steele kicks off his Radio Tour in Texas
Country Legends 92.1 On Air Personalities Mike Crow & Marlee Ellis and Garrett Steele
Garrett embarked on the first few stops of his radio tour starting with his home state, TX. He popped in on Country Legends 92.1 and watched Mike Crow and Marlee Ellis, the Morning show hosts in action. The station, along with it's sister station, 95.9 the Ranch, had a big weekend of music planned. It was the Ranch Blast. Yet in the midst of all of the morning hub-bub, the on air personalities took time from the crazy morning to visit and listen to several of Garrett's tracks. 92.1 was the first staion to hear the MJ2 and Celebrities Juvenile Diabetes charity track, "You can't say love enough". They loved it that we were able to share a morning of music with them. Such great people..."gotta love that Texas hospitality " is what Garrett uttered as he walked out of their office into the streets of Fort Worth..."God, I love Texas!". 95.9 was just downstairs from the morning show. Garrett was greeted by Kevin McCoy, Midday PD, Dave Dumas, Legends on air personality and Jared Darter, Engineering/Programming guru. Again, a busy time for all, but that Texan meeting Texan feel was evident...The guys were excited to hear the Celebrity track, and looked forward to seeing and hearing more of G as he toured Texas. Strong connections were being built here...Garrett and management were treated like celebrities, yet felt like family....again, that Texas hospitality thing at it's best! Watching from the VIP section, Garrett enjoyed Shenandoah, Eddy Ravens and Greg Robeson. What a weekend of music! Thank you Country Legends and the Ranch!
Garrett wraps his performance for the MJ2 and Celebrities Juvenile Diabetes Charity Track. G shared the mic with Dolly Parton, Lee Greenwood, Larry Gaitlin, Steve Wariner, Wayne Newton, Andy Griggs, Bill Anderson, Mark Collie, Moe Bandy, Buddy Jewell, Heidi Newfield, Burns & Poe, Rio Grande, Heartland, T.G. Shepard, and Cowboy Troy. Watch for this songs release on Sweetsong Nashville. More details to follow...
