GARRETT STEELE

  

Garrett Steele has always identified himself first and foremost as a Country Music Artist, but for the last 7 years he has added professional angler. Born and raised in Midland, TX, Garrett knew early in his music career if he wanted to be successful, he had to move to Nashville. On the road more than 200 days a year, he claims this is where he hangs his clothes. Nashville is his home.

Teddy Gentry co-founding member of the super group Alabama, was impressed with Steele’s ability to internalize a song and deliver it with passion and truth, “Garrett Steele is the real deal” states Gentry which led him to include Steele on his “Best New Nashville” CD compilation of 12 new artists, 12 new songs, which was available worldwide at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. His most memorable performances have included sharing the stage or mic with Dolly Parton, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook of Alabama, Steve Wariner, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Lee Greenwood, Heidi Newfield, Larry Gatlin, Cowboy Troy, Andy Griggs, Bill Anderson and Wynonna.  

Garrett has worn many hats throughout his life. He is always one to give back. He is co-owner in Talent America the nation’s longest running talent competition celebrating its 47th year. Steele has obtained representation from 35+ year Entertainment Industry veteran TinaMarie Holland. She has secured on air radio spots to promote his fishing, music and sponsors in cities or nearby markets of each fishing tournament, and several on air television spots as well. Within one month of working together, three television interviews, including Good Morning Mississippi with millions of viewers, and four radio spots, have highlighted and promoted the cross branding of Crappie fishing and Country Music as well as promoting sponsors and their products. Plus she has ignited production interest for a television show highlighting his travels, fishing and antics.. 

Competitive and driven as an entertainer, Garrett is also a loving family man and a savvy businessman who has learned to effectively balance all facets of his life. 

While proud of his accomplishments, Garrett has little interest in looking back; he's too focused on what lies ahead in his relentless quest to find a better song, deliver a better performance, share his passion for fishing and create a more entertaining show.
